Designated REALTOR® Dues

If you currently have a broker's license or are a certified or licensed appraiser, and are the principal or office manager for your company, you would join GMAR as a Designated REALTOR®. To join the GMAR, you must pay an application fee and prorated dues. The application fee is a one time fee as long as you never let your membership lapse.

Step 1: Make sure your license is up-to-date. Contact the Department of Safety and Professional Services at 608-266-2112 or www.dsps.wi.gov

Step 2: Fill out the "Application for Membership" (APPLICATION FORM AND DUES SCHEDULE ARE AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE) and return it to the GMAR Membership Processing Center with your application fee and prorated dues.

Step 3: Once the GMAR has received your information, MLS will be notified. Please contact MLS at 414-778-5400 for training and login information.

Step 4: Make an appointment to join MLS. Contact them at 414-778-5400.

Step 5: Within a week, you will receive an email from the GMAR regarding our mandatory orientation. After receiving that email, please call or email the GMAR to sign up for a class. Orientation is required by the National Association of REALTORS® and is a pre-requisite to membership. You have 3 months to complete this free class! Classes are usually held on the first Tuesday of each month, from 8:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.

Step 6: That's it! It really is that easy! Contact Michelle Kohn, GMAR Membership Director, with any other questions. 414-778-4929 or michelle@gmar.com

  • Membership dues are not deductible as charitable contributions. Such payment may, however, be deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense.
  • Dues, application fees, fines and assessments are not refundable, NO EXCEPTIONS.
